Thymulin papers
The chemistry is the starting point. Human samples, mouse tissue and treatment experiments give it different kinds of company.
Begin with recognition
The zinc-dependent epitope paper is my preferred entrance: the recognisable form and its biological activity are examined together. The original metal-removal experiment and the review of zinc-thymulin interactions supply the chemical context.
Then change the experimental setting
The human zinc-deficiency study, old-mouse organ culture and mouse lung gene therapy are useful companions precisely because their materials differ. For the human intervention literature, my pair would be the controlled nonathymulin trials beside the open FTS-Zn trial for their different designs and preparations.
